"I was impressed by the Panel Plan product from the word GO", exclaimed Caroline Humphreys, Facilities Manager at Cunningham Lindsey. "We had so many long corridors with nothing in them and were using filing cabinets which took up precious office space. The Panel Plan Tallwall solution was absolutely ideal for us", she continued.
Caroline has been using the Panel Plan range since we were first specified by Ian Parkin of Parkin Space, the office relocation and refurbishment specialists, more than a decade ago.
Cunningham Lindsey are one of the largest loss adjusting and claims management companies in the world. With 7000 employees in over 60 countries worldwide, their UK operation is particularly impressive with offices in over a dozen major towns and cities.
To meet their storage needs Panel Plan have designed and installed in many of these sites; from Maidstone to Glasgow, London to Birmingham and Cardiff to the Solent.
However, what's most impressive is that to meet the demands of a vibrant and evolving organisation such as Cunningham Lindsey, Panel Plan haven't simply installed new units on each and every occasion - after the initial build, a number of office locations have changed, therefore the challenge to Panel Plan was to remove and re-install the units on the new sites.
Caroline Humphreys explains;
"As with any modern organisation, moving from one office location to another is normal practice. Naturally we are always concerned for the environment and the impact we are having on it. Hence our decision to go with Panel Plan in the first place. Their ability to take down the Tallwall units and rebuild them on our new sites with little or no damage to the units themselves has been an ideal environmental solution".
Panel Plan have, in most cases, been able to cut 'on site' the reusable units and according to Caroline, "they are so robust, nothing has ever snapped off - I can't recommend Panel Plan highly enough."
What's most satisfying from Caroline's, Parkin Space and Panel Plan's environmental perspective is that a number of the Tallwall units have now moved not twice but three times!
Now that's what we call 'recycling!'
